Deadly Habit

People are talking a lot about the street racing. In most cases there are people who hate it and there are people who adore it. If talking about youth they in most cases adore it. Even if there is a person who is not a street racer and has nothing to do with it he or she still is the one who adore street racing and never minds about it. It is common and it is not a wonder.

A lot of beautiful words are said about the romance of street racing, about the freedom and about the speed and so on and so forth. And those words are ideology of street racing. Though, each coin has two sides and let's not forgets about the second side and let's takes good look at it. And the other side of the coin is the side of death and traumas.

Let's not forget that street racing is a deadly hobby or kind of sport, it doesn't matter. What does matter is a number of those people who are dead because of street racing and about those people who are maimed by their hobby. It is not a rare case that they crash and they burn in their cars and some of them die and some of them are still alive, though they will never drive again.

Behind the romance of speed and freedom there is another feature and that is not that beautiful and romantic. Behind the curtain of freedom there is blood and death and crashes and broken bodies and broken lives. It is important to remember about the other side of the coin.

It is the crash that stops their lives or even worse – make them immovable for the rest of their lives. And they will never drive the highway again; moreover they will never even walk again. And this is where they start to realize the real idea of this life and the real values of this life. Sometimes it takes one crash for a street racer to change his mind.
