Drag Racing

In general street racing is not just a name for race but it is a name for the whole subculture if modern youth. Well, it is a subculture common not for youth only. So, from the point of view of street racing as of the subculture we may call the drug racing as another component of this subculture. But, a lot of people may grow offended with these words.

They are people who know that drag racing was actually the beginning if street racing. We were talking about American youth who had the race in the dried-out lake until they had to move to streets of LA. So, the race they had was the real drag racing. They had not much place and so those were short-distance races. And that is the main feature of drag racing.

The drag racing is almost the same with the street racing though there are also different features of those. Street racing is when one has a rout and the check points and he has to reach finish first, and the rout he will chose is his own business. As for the drag racing it is the race on straight line distance. And it is also a distance no longer than one fourth of mile.

The main thing is to develop the highest speed and reach finish first. And there is no way for one to fulfil that task in case he is not skilful at driving and shifting gears. That is the real drag racing and the difference between drag and street racing.
