Law and Street Racing

It is actually an interesting question as it may be examined from different angles. It is common that police all over the world do its best in order to reduce the quantity of street racers and to make them response for what they are doing. Though, in most cases police fails to fulfil their task as for the street racers and they keep driving and keep racing.

On the one hand, there is no law of any of countries in the world according to which street racing is the forbidden activity. There are no rules and restrictions about it. So, from this point of view those street racers do nothing illegal and their activity is also not illegal. It is just the peculiar hobby that provides people with adrenalin they are thirsty for.

But, on the other hand they are street racers and they perform their competition and the main feature of the competition is the speed. The higher the speed is the greater chance one has to win. So, they break the common rules of street traffic. Moreover, they break all possible rules of street traffic and that is illegal and that is the reason to arrest them.

And of course these people are recognized as troublemakers and they deprive people of their rest and their come. And such an activity is also forbidden according to the law, and this is another reason for police to arrest those members of street races.
