What They Race For?

Today there are some countries that have the street racing tournaments. Those are not like common street racing tournaments, off course. Those are held at day and there are organizations and promoters and so on and so forth. But real street racers prefer to ignore such races and they follow the old tradition of night and forbidden street racing.
Why is it so? And what they race for? The legal street racing tournament has a good some of money as the main price, as a rule. And the same is also true for night and forbidden street racing. Though, it is not the money they race for and it is also not the world fame they race for. It is something else they race for, something they can't feel when talking about legal tournaments.
They actually race for adrenalin and they race for freedom. In most cases they never need that money. Sure, it is not they are like angels or something and they neglect the material stuff. They sure need their money to upgrade their cars and so on and so forth. But, money is not the main goal of street racer. There is something that is more precious.
Street racers are looking for freedom and happiness. It is the freedom they race for and it is the adrenaline they race for. They say it is like there is nothing else except the wind and car in the world when you are racing. And that is what they race for.
It is the crash that stops their lives or even worse – make them immovable for the rest of their lives. And they will never drive the highway again; moreover they will never even walk again. And this is where they start to realize the real idea of this life and the real values of this life. Sometimes it takes one crash for a street racer to change his mind.
